I bought these trainers just after Ryan and I had gotten
engaged on my last family holiday in the south of France at a Nike outlet store just outside of Barcelona. That was
four years ago, thus I believe they have worked hard enough to warrant their own post. They've travelled more than I'm sure most trainers ever do. They've been to Spain, France, Holland, England, Canada, Mexico and the USA. They've experienced scorching heat and freezing snow. They've been to the gym and have played various sports. They were there when I got married, when Ryan and I bought our first house (they even bare the paint marks) and they also took me to the hospital for my first baby.
Four years and they're not even completely worn out yet. Alas, I felt it was time to give these long lasting, faithful shoes a little rest. It was not easy finding replacement shoes, one's that were not too expensive (e.g. over $100), the right fit (they do not make my long slim feet look like long feet) and with the potential to last as long as their
predecessors. After a few months I finally found them...

I bet both pairs of shoes have been to China before -- or perhaps Indonesia.
That makes your first pair a more experience traveller than you.
