Cry Baby

Paige is really coming into her own. She knows what she wants and she'll let you know! There's a few things that I wanted to mention more for journaling and this will probably be boring for everyone but me...

On Sunday we were sitting in church and Paige was crawling around with her friend Dashiell. It's great having another baby so close in age, they'll sit and play together and it gives me and Cori a chance to actually listen to what's going on. Well this time Paige had backed herself into the piano and was lying there looking around smiling at everyone giving a little squeal every now and then when Dash crawled over to see what she was doing. They're staring at each other face to face smiling when Paige gives a high pitched screech of delight. The next thing you know Dash's face crumples up and the tears start flowing! It was cute, she scared the tender hearted little boy! Paige just continued to look around smiling.

Paige had her first tooth come in on Feb 10th. It's soooo cute! It's the bottom front. She already has the one coming in next to it as well. We've not had any problems with teething, we're very lucky. This has led to Paige discovering the tricks she can do with her tongue. She can twist it every which way, she flicks it in and out, she licks her lips, it's hilarious to watch! I have a horsey rhyme I sing why bouncing Paige up and down on my knee and then I make a clip clop sound with my tongue which she loves. She has now started to make the clip clop sound as well! She's such a clever baby :) (she's actually started doing it right now!) And talking of mimicking, if you sneeze she loves it and tries to mimic it although it comes out as a little cough, but it's cute!!!!
The other thing she has started doing this month is waving. She waves at everything.... people, pets, pictures, the ceiling, upstairs, downstairs, the tv, at toys and at nothing in particular. She waves like the queen, it's all in the wrist! She is hilarious, our little queen of Sheba!

Paige also loves to read, which I'm really happy about because I love to read! If she's upset there's nothing that makes her happier quicker than reading a book! Last Sunday it was really funny as Dash had a book he wanted to play with but Paige already had it. She was "reading" it to him (holding it and babbling away while studying the pictures) and then when he went after the book she pulled it away and turned herself away from him so he couldn't get the book. Once again upsetting little Dash. We have a diva on our hands!
