Halloween!

So this year was Paige's first Halloween trick or treating. We didn't do it at home as we were at the Guerrero's for a big group dinner and night of fun! Originally we were going to skip the trick or treating as well just because spending $20 on a costume for a one year old for one night didn't make much sense, however grandma stepped in and wanted her little granddaughter to go and gifted us with a costume... Tigger!
Paige actually loves her Tigger costume. The night before Halloween she saw it lying on the change table and and wanted it so it joined her in bed. The next morning she made sure I knew to take it downstairs with us and she wore it all day. Since Halloween it has been worn frequently as she refuses to wear any other kind of trousers, I think it was probably worth the money now, they'll be nice cozy pjs this winter!!!
So Halloween evening we had dinner and then Ryan and I took Paige walking around the Guerrero's neighbourhood. It only took Paige about three houses to realize all she had to do was walk up to the house and hold her bag open! It was the cutest thing ever and she had it down like a pro! Her favourite houses were the ones with all the noises and special effects and after a couple of those she was walking down the street mimicking the ghoulish laughter and heavy breathing, it was hilarious! We probably got around ten-fifteen houses and then Paige had decided she'd had enough, she stopped where she was and started fishing in her bag to choose her first reward from her spoils and that's when we knew we were probably done. So we made it back to the Guerrero's and chowed down on some chocolate, the best part of Halloween!
